We are committed to keeping Bluegrass Music alive and well. To that end we are kicking off a Youth Acoustic Music Festival. We must get the next generation interested and involved in this great music! We will have several groups that are either entirely made up of young people or are a family band with several young people included. Workshops will be conducted as well as other activities aimed at getting the young attendees involved in the music. PLEASE plan to attend. Show your committment to Bluegrass Music and offer support and encouragement to the young people who'll be there.

Hello Bluegrass Fans

Welcome to our website. We hope you find the information you want, but, if not, please e-mail us in the comments section above.
We have now completed our third year of shows and festivals.   There are only a couple of monthly shows left before 2010 rolls around, and it promises to be as good and maybe better than 2009.   The June festival will happen June 2 thru 5.   Mark Phillips and III generation will head the lineup.
The Fall festival is going to go through some changes.   It will no longer be a fall festival.   We are moving it to the last weekend in August in 2010.   We have always liked the October time we have been having it, but we found that we have been going up against some stiff competition.   Many of the folks that might be interested in attending our festival are going to Turkey Track early to get a camping space.   After careful and thoughtful consideration, we have concluded that it would be in our best interest to move the festival to the August date.   We will be calling it our "Deep Summer" festival.   In 2010 it will be on August 25 thru 28.
It is our sincere hope that this change will not adversely affect too many of our attendees.   We just feel that we have to make this move or discontinue the fall festival for good.   Be sure to mark this date on your calenders and plan to be here.
There will also be another change for the 2010 year.   On May the first we will be hosting a youth festival.   We feel that the young people of our area have been basically ignored.   Our generation has been slow to pass our great music on to the younger generation, and we hope this will be the beginning of turning this around.   There will be more info about this on this website later as we firm up the bands and prices for this event.
For those of you who are close enough, we still have bluegrass shows on the first Saturday of the month and gospel on the forth Friday of each month.   Come and join us.
